LOOK ALIKES

 

I find myself seeing Bryan’s face in a lot of young men.  I used to tell him

that he look a bit like LeBron. When he wore the full beard and the

sunglasses, he really did!

Additionally, we used to tell Bryan that he could have been a body double

for President Obama.  That one is self-explanatory, he, in my mind, looked a

great deal like our former president.

 

COMPARISON PICTURE OF BRYAN AND PRESIDENT OBAMA

 

There are two young men that stand out in my memory as looking like or at

least reminding me of The Big Guy, one was a young man that we knew in

Okinawa between 2004 and 2007.  He had the same tall slender build, wire

framed glasses and close haircut. 

 

I recall Angela and I being at the bowling alley on Camp Foster in Okinawa

Japan and we were being goofy (as Angela and I still are to this day) and

having seen this young man, we started calling ‘Bryan, Bryan’, pointing at

the young man.  Neither he nor Bryan knew what we were doing but both of us

pre-adolescents had fun with it!

 

 

A second young man that does not look as much like Bryan but who’s

mannerisms remind me a lot of Bo is Devin McGee.  He is a young man who

worked with me at MARFORRES. I’ve told others and I believe Devin that I

thought that Devin was the hipster version of Bryan.  Devin, like Bryan is

extremely intelligent, very techie, very, very low key and moderately naïve

(in a very good way).
